Dr. Leone has moved H&L Mobile Veterinary Services headquarters to Carlisle, PA. She has lived in Carlisle since moving to PA following graduation from veterinary school in 2020. It has been a long 86-mile drive, one-way, from her home to the office where she kept the van in St Lawrence/Reading. This was a 3-hour round trip commute that was becoming too much.
Already in effect for all new clients is the updated house call and mileage fees for Dr. Leone to come from Carlisle. The house call charge will be $115 and will cover the first 25 miles, with the additional mileage of $2.75/mile. These adjustments will make it more sustainable for Dr. Leone to continue her career as a mobile veterinarian for decades to come.

About Us
Dr. Sophia Leone, DVM
Owner & Veterinarian
Originally from Arizona, Dr. Leone graduated from The University of Arizona with her degree in Veterinary Science, Honors, with a minor in Business Administration. She then graduated from Colorado State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, and started her career in commercial swine medicine in Pennsylvania.
She made the transition to small animal medicine through vaccine clinics and general & emergency practice, and has found her passion in emergency and critical care. She works relief in a local veterinary emergency hospital. While she enjoys helping critical patients in need and performing life-saving soft tissue surgeries, an equal passion has become preventing these illnesses through client education and preventative care.
She has 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a cockatiel, and also sponsors and fosters the occasional animal in need until they find their forever home.
