Originally from Arizona, Dr. Leone graduated from The University of Arizona with her degree in Veterinary Science, Honors, with a minor in Business Administration. She then graduated from Colorado State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, and started her career in commercial swine medicine in Pennsylvania.
She made the transition to small animal medicine through vaccine clinics and general and emergency practice, and has found her passion in emergency and critical care. She works relief in a local veterinary emergency hospital. While she enjoys helping critical patients in need and performing life-saving soft tissue surgeries, an equal passion has become preventing these illness through client education and preventative care.

She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a cockatiel, and also sponsors and fosters the occasional animal in need until they find their forever home.
